What a success!
Over 800 guests celebrated at the Artists Ball Six Dance Party. This year, YBCA teamed up with San Francisco based event designer extraordinaire Stanlee Gatti to present YBCA's Artists Ball Six, and the theme was be "Stanlee's Brain". This was a very creative event-- a gala fundraiser with an extraordinary dinner and auction followed by a dance party with live entertainment and libations. For more information go here
The YBCA Artists Ball Art Auction is now closed! Congratulations to all bidders. The silent and live auction alone raised more than $120,000 for YBCA . The online auction ran from September 8, 2006 to October 11, 2006. Bidding ended at the Artists Ball Dinner on October 13, 2006
Auction items ranged from unique art to exclusive experiences with artists. Proceeds from the auction event will go to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in order to support the Center's innovative programs in visual arts, performing arts, film and video.
